Our Commitment to Safety, Dignity & Choice in SIL Homes

TRINITICARE

At Triniticare, our mission is to provide services that enable those we support to actually live, not just exist. Our role as a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Registered Provider is to develop a new approach to Supported Independent Living, which provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to develop their own skill set within a safe and supportive environment. We focus our organisation on three primary core principles: Safety, Dignity & Choice. These core principles guide the development and implementation of Supported Independent Living services, which are provided through our operational framework to all customers.

Safety: The Foundation of Everything We Do

Complete independence requires strong protection as its main requirement. The concept of safety exists in multiple interpretations. The first part of the safety evaluation is a physical security assessment. This process requires selecting and preserving residences which comply with safety regulations. The project needs to conduct ongoing assessments for potential risks, together with developing systems to handle emergencies.

The second part of the safety assessment focuses on our support staff. They create secure and respectful environments that protect participants from judgment and criticism. This allows participants to share their thoughts openly.

Our primary goal is to protect people from all types of harm and abuse. The home staff provides complete health services through trained nurses who possess both experience and certification. The individuals understand our expectations because they trust us to address their concerns. The residents of a Triniti Care home experience safety, which enables them to enjoy complete freedom in their daily activities.

Dignity: Respect is a Must

Dignity is a fundamental aspect of a person's humanity; therefore, all of our interactions must be conducted in a manner that respects the dignity of others. We must build meaningful relationships with one another and others through our support systems beyond just providing basic assistance. Rather than focusing on their disabilities, we are more concerned with the individual. We will strive to develop a support system that is aware of and meets the individual needs, aspirations, and identities of each person as unique. Through personal space for private moments, protection of personal items, and compassionate support over time, individuals may be able to maintain their dignity. Your home should reflect who you are rather than simply resemble an additional hotel or other facility.

This process involves engaging in real communication because it needs your full attention. Triniticare is committed to creating a supportive environment in which individuals have an opportunity to make their own choices regarding their life, including what to eat for dinner or how they would like to spend their weekend. The environment we create gives individuals the utmost independence to control their lives while we provide our utmost respect and support in achieving their goals.

Choice: The Heart of True Independence

People who use our Supported Independent Living (SIL) model should have the freedom to control their life decisions. The process starts from choosing the most suitable house of ours, which you will share with your companion of choice, and it continues to your last decision. What does choice-led support look like? It means:

Person-Centred Planning: Your plan is your guide, allowing you to plan forward, focusing on skills, employment, and connecting you with your community.

Daily Autonomy: You can design your own day in any way you please, including choices such as meals, activities, or socialising, as our staff is supportive of your choices without necessarily dictating what you should actually choose.

Voice and Control: Your voice is important. Regular house meetings and individual conversations allow us to listen and take notice of your preferences.

Why Choose Triniti Care?

This is your most important decision, so you and your family must choose between several SIL providers. At TrinitiCare, we establish a partnership rather than a position. We uphold the full requirements of the NDIS Code of Conduct while operating our services with professional expertise and genuine kindness.

Your goal of living independently at home gives you personal control, safety, and respect. With the support of our team, we will work together to build your ideal life. We are committed to ensuring safety, dignity, and choice for everyone through our Supported Independent Living homes in locations like Gosford, Campbelltown, Woy Woy, Liverpool, Blacktown, St Albans, Kurri Kurri, Wanniassa, Melbourne, and the Central Coast.
